Dear families, We have made it! We have officially entered our last week of the 2019-2020 school year. I am so proud of the growth each of you have shown throughout this year. This week, the 3rd grade teachers thought it would be fun to host a 3rd grade talent show. This will be our final meeting of the year. Please join us with or without a talent to share. In addition to our talent show, join us in conversation on our Padelt page (there will be no work to complete in our OneNote notebooks)! Additionally, parents, please read the attached End of Year letter with a few reminders for you and your child. Enjoy your summer!! Mrs. Overman

May 18, 2020 Dear families, We have made it… our last week of academic work! Next week will be a week filled with year-end activities and fun. Please check out our learning calendar for this week. Math remains the same with completing at least 5 Dreambox lessons and one activity from Mrs. Kulik’s math page. Reading will be similar to the way it was in the beginning of our distance learning adventure- Storyworks Jr. readings along with the completion of an opinion writing piece. I’m still working on reading through last week’s assignments, but what I have read so far has been fantastic! This week, we will have our Zoom meeting on Thursday morning at 10 am. Sorry for the change in date, I have a doctor appointment during our regularly scheduled meeting time. I will send the invitation out later this week. Have a great week, everyone! Best, Mrs. Overman
Happy Monday!
I hope you all enjoyed your Mother’s Day. I really hope your families made all of the mothers feel extra special. This week in Distance Learning, we will be working to write an opinion piece. I believe the students will really have fun working to form an opinion about our posed question. Additionally, we will use Padlet again this week to post a “book buzz.” Just follow the links on our learning calendar or through our Office 365 OneNote Activity. We can’t wait to read our Padlet posts! We will talk about last week’s posts in our Zoom meeting this week along with our field day activities we may have participated in. Our Zoom meeting with me Wednesday morning at 10am. I will send the invitation later this week. Have a wonderful week, everyone! Best, Mrs. Overman Happy Monday, Everyone! Today marks the beginning of our 4th to last week of school for the 2019-2020 school year. This week, you may notice that I have included a new page on the website titled, "class photos." It was fun loading these pictures to share with you. It's amazing how much the kids have grown through the school year. I even have a picture of each student on the first day of school- if you want me to send it to you, I would gladly send it your way. This week, learning will look slightly different. All of the lessons for language arts will be found in a PowerPoint. Just follow the lessons as you work throughout the week. I have included the link to the PowerPoint. Additionally, in the PowerPoint your child will be asked to respond with their thinking or ideas on padlet. The link will take them directly to the padlet page. The goal for math is to complete 5 or more lessons on Dreambox and at least 1 lesson from Mrs. Kulik and Mrs. Garlich's website. Our next Zoom session will be on Wednesday, May 6th at 10am. I hope to see you ALL there! I will send the invite early next week. Best, Paige Overman
Dear Families, Welcome to week 6 of distance learning. I apologize for just posting this message for you all, however, our little Charlie has been running a fever the last few days. I’m hoping it’s just teething and we will return to normal soon! Attached below, you will find your week 6 learning calendar as well as your week 6 learning activities in a word document format. If you are having trouble with submitting via Office 365 in OneNote, feel free to type in the document, save, and send back to me at the end of the week. I will save it in your child’s OneNote folder. I hope this email is finding you all happy and healthy. We will Zoom again on Wednesday morning at 10am. Please look for an invitation to come later today or tomorrow. Best, Paige Overman
